Why do it:

I do it not for ME but for my karma, for my calling, for the mission i was born with.

Yes i have so many times tried to get away from it all.
But the Aramanna [object-Dharma] keeps coming in front of the Citta [ mind-me].
So i have to do it selflessly so i can do it for the mission i was born with. for the Karma i was born with, as a answer to my calling.

No, do not think i do it for myself for my ego.
But of course as a fresh and blood person my ego can get in the way sometimes, but for the most part it is not the ME that is doing this, it is the Karma i was born with, that is doing this for no one in particular person but from a non-self to another non-self if you understand what i mean without imparting anything in particular.

If that happens my mission is accomplished.
