Still Suffer:

As Meditators we can still suffer.

Why?
Because we can still be attached to the form.

Remember the Diamond Sutra says:

FROM IS EMPTY, EMPTINESS IS FORM.

If you are still meditating on focusing to the form you will experience peace and non-suffering while you are meditating and immediately after meditating.

But after that suffering comes back again.

That's why the meditator has to keep going for higher ups, higher and higher state of sbsorption that the meditation can take.

That's called the Right Effort.

The Right Effort with the Right Concentration [Samtha] ultimately will lead you to
Right Mindfulness [Vipassana].

That's when you may experience no more suffering even in between the meditation,
or shall we say less and less suffering.
