why stopping is difficult:

stopping
the dysfunctional behaviour
or an unwanted
sick thought
is difficult
because
the person
that needs to stop
looks for love
in exchange
to stop.

that's where
the Buddhism
loving kindness
and
compassion
comes in.

if these people
get the unconditional
loving kindness
and
compassion
from the therapist
then
they are more likely to stop
mindfully
and
they are able to
cope with
and
accept
the suffering
that comes with the suffering,
which will then
open the doors
for the person
to
more peace of mind.
